Follow-up notes on any document

Published by Cruzeviz on .

You can add follow-up notes to a document you create in Cruzeviz, and you can keep adding them after the document is generated.

The note sits on the invoice, the payment receipt, the quotation, the credit note, the purchase bill, the debit note or the payment you made. It is a small line under the document: the words, then the name of the person and the date and time. Open it when you want it, and leave it closed the rest of the time.

Nothing about the money changes

A note is only a note. It does not change the invoice total, the payment, the tax or the books. Issued documents stay locked. The note is a record of what you wanted to remember, such as "customer will pay Friday" or "sent the receipt on WhatsApp".

The full list, in Excel and PDF

Reports has a Follow-up notes download for the period you pick. Excel gets every note with the date and time, the person, the document, its number, the party and the text. The PDF has the same details. Use it when you want the whole trail, not one document at a time.

You can add as many notes as you need, whenever you need them. They stay in your account. They are not printed on the invoice your customer receives.
